Keith Smith - President & CEO

Growing up in ice rinks, Keith started his career in Ice Skating rinks at a very young age, starting as a DJ at the local ice rinks, progressing to assistant managing local skating rinks in the Central Florida area. Along with working in the rinks, Keith grew up Figure Skating with Coach Jean-Claude Detre.

Keith has a very vast knowledge of operations and management of day to day skating facilties, from session programing, to ice making and maintanance of ice making equipment. On top of providing amazing portable rinks he curently is a operating partner at USA on Ice, a year round word class ice skating arena located in Orlando, Florida. Here he still gains daily experiance in operating a year round ice faclity in the entertainment saturated Orlando Area, and very little presold ice time. This makes Keith constantly create new promotional and management concepts to bring new revenue streams and keep expenses to a minimum.

Not only can he provide you with complete turn key skating events, his expertiese also extednds into the Corporate Entertainment Field. Jean-Claude Detre - Vice President / Creative Director

With almost 30 years of experience in the ice skating/show industry, Jean-Claude is a true master in all aspects of Ice Skating Show, Production, and operations. He is a true asset to the operation of ASE. President and CEO of ASE Keith, considers Jean-Claude as his right hand man.

Jean-Claude is fluent in many languages including English, French, Dutch, Flemish, Walsh, and German. With education in Accounting & Business, Electronics, Mechanics, Psychology, and theater production. He wears many hats with ASE as a jack of all trades from being a show choreographer, skating coach, set designer / builder, lighting and sound technician, ice operations technician (22 years of ice maintenance experience!), and show creative director. You will see his work at every event and rink installed and or operated by ASE, while being master rated in cabinetry, he builds all of the show sets and even our operations counters and display units.
